Terms of Service

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Vervo, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old.

Service description

Vervo analyzes screenshots of text conversations and generates three reply suggestions in different tones. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll communicate material changes in advance when reasonable.

AI-generated content

Vervo generates reply suggestions using third-party AI models (currently OpenAI). Output is probabilistic and may be incorrect, out of date, or reflect biases present in the model's training data.

Suggestions are not advice. They are not medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for deciding what to send and for any consequences of sending a message.

Model behavior, provider, and quality may change over time. We do not guarantee consistent output across sessions or across model upgrades.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Vervo to:

  • Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or send abusive messages to anyone.
  • Commit fraud, scams, impersonation, or identity theft.
  • Generate content that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
  • Violate any applicable law or the rights of others.
  • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or circumvent our system prompts, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Scrape, automate, or access the service using anything other than the official interfaces we provide.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to process, or screenshots that disclose someone else's private information without their consent.
  • Resell the service or make it available to third parties under a different brand.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations without prior notice.

Third-party services

Vervo depends on third-party providers to operate, including AI, authentication, payments, database, hosting, and email services. When you use Vervo, your requests may be processed by those providers as described in our Privacy Policy. We may add, remove, or replace providers over time with at least 30 days notice for material changes.

Your content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of the conversations you upload. We claim no rights to your messages. Reply suggestions generated for you are yours to use, edit, or discard.

You grant us a limited license to process your uploads solely to provide the service. If you opt in to anonymized product improvement (Settings → Data & Privacy), you grant us an additional limited license to use anonymized, non-identifying patterns from your usage to improve Vervo. You can revoke this consent at any time.

Subscriptions, reply packs, and refunds

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Reply packs (one-time purchases of bonus replies) are delivered immediately on purchase.

Except where required by applicable law, subscription and reply-pack purchases are non-refundable once delivered. Contact us if you believe you were charged in error.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vervo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) USD $100.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via email with at least 30 days notice before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in this section limits the rights you have under those laws.
